A potential idea for the continuation of Stephen King's Cell would to take the conclusion Stephen King created and instead of altering his original conclusion continue on from that point were the main character is attempting to cure his son who has been infected with a virus which causes those directly exposed to the virus to become cannibal, psychotic, creatures devoid of reasoning. This disease is transmitted through phones, which as a result has lead to a massive apocalypse through out the entire world given how many individuals use phones with in this novel. We never see whether or not if the main character is successful in curing his son however, this is were the video begins slightly a few seconds from the conclusion of the novel. Instead of the main character's son being cured, he is instead killed due to over exposure from the virus. This throws Clayton the main character of this video into a state of emotional misbalance, he even tempts the idea of exposing himself to the virus so he doesn't have to deal with the emotional pain over his loss. He pushes these thoughts aside however, upon discovering a note with in his son's pockets. He uses the coordinates listed on the note to find a lock box, hidden with in a forest. Upon opening the box Clayton discovers another note which reveals he is not the biological father of his son. Thrown into a fit of rage and depression with this news, Clayton pulls out the phone and places a call. He then collapses shortly after being exposed to the call. In order to make this experimental and less based around the story, various colors will be overlaid and combined with the footage in order to display emotions characters are feeling.
